The Ebro is the longest river that flows in its entirety in Spain. In 1965, authorities dammed up several areas. Including ''Embalse de Menquinenza''. This area alone is 7450 ha when the lake is full! You can also sail up the Ebro from this zone yourself if there is enough water. The extensive catchment area in combination with the connecting reservoirs is always in flux. The melt water from the Pyrenees feeds this delta and because of this you also have to deal with different water levels. A different environment every time.
